Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce

Women's Council: Building Credibility with Trust & Respect

Join the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce as we continue our 2022 Women's Council programming with our theme of “2022 & You — Women & Business”. Our second program of the year will be held on Monday, May 23
rd, at noon. Our topic will be “Building Credibility with Trust and Respect—How to Strengthen It, How to Restore It”.

Forty percent of employees do not trust management, and without trust, employees feel a sense of uncertainty, insecurity and worry that creates a barrier to effective performance. We will look at the relationship between trust, respect and credibility and how valuable it is to establish in the workplace. Hear about tools for restoring broken trust, honoring commitments, and building  a trust-driven work environment.

The speaker will be Denise Rice, President & CEO of Peak Performance, a workforce training and consulting company. Previously, she was an Operational Executive with a career spanning more than 25 years with Corning, Inc., holding positions including the Director of Worldwide Manufacturing Effectiveness and Plant Manager. She received her B.S. in electrical engineering from Syracuse University, a certificate from the Executive Development Institute at Vanderbilt University and most recently a Certificate of Entrepreneurialship through the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program.

Individual tickets are $20 to attend in person (this includes lunch). Members who wish to use admission credits should call the Chamber office to register (472-6587).
