Leadership Development Series: 9.1.7 Delegating Effectively (TCCI - Spring 2026)

Virtual Instructor Led Training

TNCCI rgb

Today’s leader must be versatile and adaptable. Effective leadership results in everything from increased workplace productivity and employee retention, to improved succession planning and, ultimately, a better bottom line. This course, a key component of our Leadership Development training, serves as the foundation for establishing high performing leaders and defines the relationship between trust, respect, and credibility, covers the importance of follow up and honoring commitments, provides tips for gaining trust and reviews the five dysfunctions of a team – how lack of trust will inhibit execution.

This training is designed for managers, department heads, front line supervisors, team leaders and coordinators whether they are new to the position or have been in a leadership role for years.

Pneumatics / Electro-Pneumatics (2-27-2026)

Smart Factory Institute at the PIE Innovation Center

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to pneumatic and electro-pneumatic systems used in industrial environments. Participants will begin with essential safety practices related to compressed air systems before progressing into the fundamental principles that govern pneumatic operation, including gas laws and fluid dynamics. Learners will explore pneumatic symbols, terminology, and standards, gaining familiarity with both ANSI/ISO representations and common component functions. The course also covers compressed air generation, preparation, and distribution, as well as the design, operation, and application of actuators, flow control valves, and related devices. Finally, participants will examine electrical control integration and learn to interpret pneumatic circuit diagrams with proper component labeling and layering.

 COURSE OBJECTIVES
  • Identify safety hazards in compressed air systems and apply proper safety procedures.
  • Explain the fundamental principles of pneumatic operation, including gas laws and fluid dynamics.
  • Interpret pneumatic and electro-pneumatic symbols, standards, and component functions.
  • Describe the operation of key pneumatic components and integrate basic electrical controls into pneumatic circuits.
