This course is designed to strengthen a supervisor’s skills by helping participants overcome many of the challenges they may encounter as a leader. Participants will grow their understanding of responsible leadership and high-performance leadership of teams and explore the basic skills needed to effectively manage a workgroup. This course requires 1-2 pre-meetings with management to ensure company policies are accurately reflected and appropriate contacts and protocol are incorporated. This course is apart of the Supervisor Essential Knowledge Certification program. Interested? COURSE OBJECTIVES
DESIGNED FOR Supervisors, team leaders and coordinators that are new to their position. After completing this course, participants will be able to build better work relationships within the team and promote more effective communication between team members. This course sets the foundation for effective teams by delving into the 5 Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni. The remainder of the course focuses on trust and the relationship to respect and credibility. This course incorporates a related team building activity.
