Leadership Development: Team Work & Team Building

Virtual Instructor Led Training

TNCCI rgb

Virtual Leadership Development Series Hosted by the TN Chamber of Commerce

Lesson 4: Team Work & Team Building

Teams are typically comprised of people with diverse ideas and backgrounds and will always outperform individuals when leaders understand how to build these teams and leverage the strengths of all team members. Participants will encourage participants to explore the different aspects of a team, as well as ways that they can become a top-notch team performer. This lesson defines types of teams and the typical roles and responsibilities associated with each, reviews the four stages of team development, discovers problem solving as a team and making the most of team building.

Today’s leader must be versatile and adaptable. This training is designed for department heads, front line supervisors, team leaders and coordinators whether they are new to the position or have been in a leadership role for years.

Course Delivery
Blended Learning - Online, Self-Paced and Instructor Led

Participants will receive a link to the online portion of the course one week prior to the class date, to complete on their own. This is a 1 hour self-paced lesson. Participants will then join a 90 minute, virtual instructor-led class to review course material and apply knowledge through class activities.

Participants will be awarded a badge for each course they complete. A Leadership Development Certificate will be awarded to those participants completing all 7 courses within the certification.
