COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Safety Practices training series provides a comprehensive foundation in workplace safety standards and regulatory requirements. Covering a wide range of essential topics including OSHA basics, materials handling safety equipment, electrical safety, and much more, this collection of courses equips participants with the knowledge to identify hazards, implement controls, and respond effectively to potential risks. Each course emphasizes practical applications designed to promote a culture of safety and compliance in general industry. Upon completion of the series, participants gain the skills to protect themselves and their coworkers, reducing workplace incidents and fostering a safer environment for all.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

• Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards;
• Identify and mitigate hazards related to equipment, tools, and materials handling;
• Recognize and apply safe practices for common risks, including falls, heat exposure, and electrical hazards;
• Implement procedures for emergency planning, exit routes, and fire prevention;
• Apply effective use of personal protective equipment and lockout/tagout protocols.
