Supervisor Essential Knowledge: Your Role as a Supervisor (OE)Smart Factory Institute at the PIE Innovation Center COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to strengthen a supervisor’s skills by helping participants overcome many of the challenges they may encounter as a leader. Participants will grow their understanding of responsible leadership and high-performance leadership of teams and explore the basic skills needed to effectively manage a workgroup. This course requires 1-2 pre-meetings with management to ensure company policies are accurately reflected and appropriate contacts and protocol are incorporated. Mechatronics I: Mechanical Systems (1-16-2026)Smart Factory Institute at the PIE Innovation Center COURSE DESCRIPTION
Mechatronics Level I Operator training will provide the essential skills needed to function as a well-rounded machine operator in a complex production system, responsible for efficient operation of the equipment with minimal downtimes. Mechatronics Operator training is delivered with a focus on system understanding, troubleshooting and problem solving. Prior to class, it is recommended that the participants complete an occupational assessment as well as mechanical hands-on assessment.
