COURSE DESCRIPTION
Mechatronics Level I Operator training will provide the essential skills needed to function as a well-rounded machine operator in a complex production system, responsible for efficient operation of the equipment with minimal downtimes. Mechatronics Operator training is delivered with a focus on system understanding, troubleshooting and problem solving. Prior to class, it is recommended that the participants complete an occupational assessment as well as mechanical hands-on assessment.  

This course is apart of the Mechatronics I Certification program. Interested?

COURSE OBJECTIVES
  • Be familiar with simple AC & DC circuits and measure their electrical properties;
  • Become familiar with common types of electrical conductors, insulation and protection;
  • Understand the basic National Electrical Code (NEC) definitions and ability to read electrical schematics;
  • Become familiar with fuses, circuit breakers, common electrical switches, solenoids and relays.
