COURSE DESCRIPTION Global competency, the ability to navigate cross-cultural differences to communicate successfully, is a fundamental element of international business success. All aspects of business, including relationship building and problem-solving, are impacted by culture. Cross-Cultural Training has become a standard component in the talent management and development strategies of many leading organizations. After completing this course, participants will be prepared to work effectively within a multi-cultural team, understand different cultural interactions and become culturally competent.

Lesson 3: Language, Cultural Norms, and Sights to See
Introduction to country language and phrases;
Cultural practices and avoiding pitfalls;
Urban culture and safety.
DESIGNED FOR Anyone who handles intercultural communication, deals with clients in other countries or works on international projects.
PREREQUISITES: There is no prerequisite for this course.
