COURSE DESCRIPTION
In any business, meeting project goals is crucial in every facet of the business environment. Project leaders need the essential skills to lead these projects successfully. Successful project management requires considering all factors that influence the execution. This workshop provides the foundational knowledge necessary to understand key factors, such as scope, time, cost, quality, resources and communication. Participants will learn practical ways to explore and understand project goals for the life cycle of a project, from project start to project closing.

Today’s leader must be versatile and adaptable. Effective leadership results in everything from increased workplace productivity and employee retention, to improved succession planning and, ultimately, a better bottom line. All leaders must be able to establish goals and create a vision for how their teams can achieve individual and team goals that are integrated into higher level corporate goals. This course reviews creating SMART goals, prioritizing and developing action plans, introduces the 4 Disciplines of Execution, and discusses self-motivation and time management. 

This training is designed for managers, department heads, front line supervisors, team leaders and coordinators whether they are new to the position or have been in a leadership role for years. 

Course Delivery
Blended Learning - Online, Self-Paced and Instructor Led

Participants will receive a link to the online portion of the course one week prior to the class date, to complete on their own. This is a 1 hour self-paced lesson. Participants will then join a 90 minute, virtual instructor-led class to review course material and apply knowledge through class activities.

Participants will be awarded a badge for each course they complete. A Leadership Development Certificate will be awarded to those participants completing all 7 courses within the certification.

This course defines and explains how to coach and mentor, how to set appropriate goals and coaching to achieve those goals, how to overcome common obstacles and develop a coaching plan and provide feedback.
