COURSE DESCRIPTION Knowing how to read electrical drawings is critical when installing new equipment and troubleshooting existing equipment. This hands-on course provides instructions and exercises in the proper use of electrical print documents and covers the basic functions to troubleshoot equipment. This course shows participants how to decipher this common language for electrical equipment by covering how to read and interpret the symbols on an electrical schematic, the function of the input, logic, and output elements of a control circuit. Additionally, this course describes the steps for interpreting the relationships among the input, logic, and output components of an electrical schematic. Basic industrial math skills are also covered which aide technicians in problem-solving activities.
