Discrimination in the workplace goes beyond overt, intentional acts of discrimination. Even if we don't mean to offend others, our words or actions can sometimes communicate bias and make others feel excluded. These subtle acts of exclusion, whether intentional or unintentional, are often referred to as "microaggressions" and can have a negative impact in the workplace. To promote a positive and productive workplace, we must all strive to avoid workplace discrimination. This training teaches participants how to avoid committing microaggressions and how to respond to microaggressions the employee may experience or witness.
