COURSE DESCRIPTION Change is essential to organizational growth and progress yet it is reported that over 60% of change projects fail to achieve desired results. Guiding a team or organization through change may be one of the most difficult challenges for a leader yet is required of all leaders no matter their level. Fundamental change is often resisted by the people whom are most impacted. Leaders can successfully transform their business or process following an 8-step process. This hands-on program provides frameworks, models and strategies that will make your change project successful.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Lesson 1: Change Management Basics Change Management is the process of guiding an organization through either an adaptive change or a transformational change, both with their own sets of challenges. For an organization to successfully implement change, it must first be ready for change and motivated to move from status quo.

Lesson 2: You as the Change Agent Developing a realistic strategic plan with relevant key performance indicators is critical in leading through change. This lesson includes identification of project stakeholders and clear project scope.
Setting a vision;
Communicating the vision;
Developing objectives for others.
Lesson 3: Implementation During implementation phase, communication to the organization is crucial. Change managers must empower employees while anticipating and eliminating roadblocks and barriers.
Communicating with visible metrics;
Creating short term wins;
Identifying and eliminating roadblocks to change.
Lesson 4: Sustainability Long-lasting change is where most projects fail. Leaders can improve sustainability of change by embedding it in their company’s culture, practices, and procedures.
Review progress and analyze results;
Institutionalizing new approaches.
