COURSE DESCRIPTION Mechatronics Level I Operator training will provide the essential skills needed to function as a well-rounded machine operator in a complex production system, responsible for efficient operation of the equipment with minimal downtimes. Mechatronics Operator training is delivered with a focus on system understanding, troubleshooting and problem solving. Prior to class, it is recommended that the participants complete an occupational assessment as well as mechanical hands-on assessment.

Understand machine drawings, blueprints and O&M manuals;
Identify pump failure problems and solutions;
Identify bearing wear problems;
Understand and maintain planned maintenance records.
